Drop the hammer? I haven't wanted to make one SINGLE pick... but the incompetency of others has forced me to do so. :-"
But as I already stated... I'm not doing it again.

Hey Herohamo I don't think you can pick for the person before you, only the person after you.

I am here and the 17th pick is mine. I will not post it until the people in front of me are given ample chance to post their picks according to the Mod's rules that are posted in the other tread.

Really? Are you completely sure that it's not just that you didn't read it properly?
Actually... he was drafted and then the selection was changed... so the very next person picked him... which is likely what would happen in reality if he fell to someone who didn't need or think about a DT until he was available.

Yeah I agree. Santonio Holmes would have made more since. He played bigtime football and didn't quit twice.

Santonio was going to be my first choice but I feel he is a little to small for what the Falcons need. He didnt quit he had to raise his child which is a legit reason. Coming back is a testiment to his character which means alot to what type of player he will develop into. I believe in this guy and took a shot at him. I know he will make a believer out of you guys just wait and see. I hope the skins pick him up in the real draft for he will likely go in the second round.

(FROM OTHER THREAD) I just wanted to quote this from the above article:
Quote:
If the 21 year old Bergeron continues to show the talent and speed he's shown in the AFL so far, we think he could be a possible NFL draft pick in the next draft or in a Supplemental Draft down the line.
and...
Quote:
Late-second day or UDFA prospect is most likely-
Im not saying he is a bad prospect, im just saying you could aquire him in the late rounds. A top 3 round pick is a bit much.

If you guys want to move on, I'd suggest NYG selecting Mathias Kiwanuka DE from BC to start opposite Strahan and learn under him. It would also make sense to improve their pass rush since their secondary is a little weak and as far as I can tell the stud CBs are already gone. Of course you may still want to wait on JSB22.

The G men have two of the best DE's in football. They would probably want to look elsewhere, like LB or CB

There is a list in the draft thread.

True but one of them is nearing retirement and the G-men would be smart to think of his departure...but that really doesn't matter since the Colts took him!
