Guessing we didn't match the Pats' offer?

now it's official - Pot Roast signs with the Pats http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-foo ... e-rotation

not sure this is such a big loss for our D - liked the guy but he was not exactly all world out there ...

good luck to him - I think the rotation will suit him better
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Possibly a visit to keep your eye on today:
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... wednesday/

Greg Toler visiting Redskins on Wednesday

Cornerback, just turned 31 years old.
"Toler spent the last three seasons with the Colts, making 32 starts while appearing in 34 games. He had 131 tackles, three interceptions, two forced fumbles and a sack during his time in Indianapolis. Greg Manusky was the Colts defensive coordinator while Toler was with the team and is now the linebackers coach in Washington."

Source says Redskins are expected to sign CB Greg Toler, who paid team headquarters a visit earlier today.

I keep reading that but not digging it at all. I've read that it would have to involve trading away a pick and maybe one of our o-linemen. Think I'd rather see the team stay the course and continue to build through the draft.

I'm usually against high profile free agent signings... and would have to trust Scotty Mc either way it goes. However, it depends on the pick and who we give up. Anyone other then TW and the Sheriff I'm good with.. and do you think we will draft as high of an impact player as Kam past the 3rd round? Have to consider our draft position(s) as well.

Perfect scenario for me would be to give up Garcon (they need a wr pretty bad) and our 4th rounder or later.. Kam isn't just a beast but a leader amoung his peers. That role that has been somewhat void since Fletcher retired. AND he wants to play here having idolized the late great Sean Taylor!

Actually, I'd LOVE to have Kam, and for me, there isn't much I wouldn't give up to sign him. Luckily for us I'm not the GM... cuz I could get pretty stupid really quick to ink him in

Pretty sure that's a complete BS rumor either way. But it was fun to consider!

We showed interest last year too.. I would say it's 100% false, nor is it 100% accurate

it's just amazing what you read/hear from FO people, coaches, players, fans & the media at this time of year - it truly is the silly season ...
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
