Looks like the Giants have found a way to use Devin Thomas.

Well, on the bright side, that makes two changes of possession made possible by blown calls.
4th & 4, Smith's plant leg gets hit on a punt and the ball is not touched. Should be running into kicker, 5 yards, 1st down.
On the stripsack, Umeniyora jumps onto Tuck's back during the celebration and they both fall to the ground. Going to the ground, of course, is part of the definition of the "excessive celebration" penalty. Should be 15 yards and an automatic first.
Why is this good news? In a closer game it might have mattered. Today it's just food for thought.

Remember back to when training camp and all the pre-season hype began. So much better organization. Schemes are awesome. New D presenting new opportunities. Players will have opportunites to make plays and excel. Must have been some powerful Kool-Aid back then.

There is no part of this team that shows promise. This team is baad and will be for years.

You know if I had not wasted my time watching this broken team today, I could have seen some real NFL football being played.

Too many parts that need fixing. Like the kid putting his finger in the hole in the dike. As soon as one thing gets fixed, another part breaks and needs fixing.

I just want to know one thing ..... are we going to continue to see this disaster happen each week and then watch the press corps SOFTBALL Shanahan and let him off the hook?
Nobody seems willing to SAY what needs to be said ... Shanahan's team is progressively getting worse in EVERY AREA.
Is it ALL 53 players .... or the 10 coaches?

Then again, we did last a couple more weeks before the annual mid-season fall apart than in seasons past...

5-11 is a real possibility!

So...Is Haslet still our front runner for DC next year? I think the second half was much improved but that first half was incredibly bad. I know our offense sucks but why were we so not attuned until the second half? Another question...Why was Albert deactivated for this game? Anyone?

Seriously, there is no part of this team to look forward to right now. Weve gotta be one of the oldest teams in the league and they look like rookies. At least with a bunch of rookies there's upside.

Sure, you can point to specific mistakes by the coaches, but overall we just don't have very much talent. Just look at some of the players that we are running out there that are way past their prime (Holliday, Daniels, Sellers, Rabach etc.) or who have no real business playing meaningful NFL minutes (Heyer, Davis, Keiland Williams, etc.). If you look at this team unit by unit, there is not a single group that is impressive. The closest would be the defensive line but they aren't a good fit for this defensive scheme. It's is going to take 2-3 years (at the very least) to restock this roster, and that's assuming that out front is capable of that (which is a big if).

Well that was a fitting way to end the fame. Fumble the snap and then throw an INT! Let's all go home. Nothing more left to say than what was said by the play on the field.

That's just it ... you hit the nail on the head here .... this team comes out ILL PREPARED ...
You cannot allow the opposition 2 TD leads in the first 5 minutes ... 3 TD leads before half time.
Did the defense really improve, or did the Giants just throttle back a little with a huge lead and a team that doesn't look capable of competing with Dematha High?
This team is way worse than last year's disaster .... at least those guys competed. There is no competitiveness on this team. They're push overs and the defense is giving up more yards than any Redskin defense in history.
Right now, PATHETIC would require improvement.
