Throwing your helmet, verbally attacking coaches and staff and giving up on plays when given a chance will not win you points with any coach.
Gibbs was in a tough position, but couldn't reward that kind of behavior as it would set a bad example for the rest of the locker room. Lloyd also had troubles in San Fransisco as well.
Perhaps Lloyd is a bit more matured and realizes this may be his last chance. His successes with the Bears may be evidence of a new attitude, knowing if he fails or gets cut again, it could be all over for him.
Then again, he may have finally realized his rap career was going nowhere, so to keep a roof over his head, needed to earn a paycheck playing football.
I knew the damage control for Gibbs would arrive sooner or later. I simply refuse to believe that Lloyd simply went bonkers for no reason.
I look at Steve Smith that physically beat the brakes off a teammate and is back in action. Gibbs put Lloyd on a two year "time out" cus of a temper tantrum that I'm sure was provoked??!? Give me a break.
Since Gibb's departure you have many offensive players breathing a respectful sigh of relief...
