We got beat by a better team, and that's all there is to it. Could we have won? Absolutely! But, to say the referees cost us the game, and in particular the interception at the end, is ludicrous. I blame penalties more than the interception, and it was an interception.
We played well enough to win, but so did Philadelphia and they didn't have as many costly penalties as we did. Ramsey had a chance to win it for us, not lose it for us. The pass probably shouldn't have been thrown, but it by no means cost us the game. Mike Sellers penalties were far more costly than that poor decision by Ramsey.
No matter how we slice this game up, we have to realize that the real reason we lost was not by the plays we did or didn't make. It's all about mental discipline, and we're sorely lacking in that department. The penalties that we always get, either push the other team deep in our territory or knock us back deeper from their territory. Until that part of this team is fixed, we can expect all the games to boil down to one or two plays on the field and hope we get a break one way or the other. We shouldn't have to hope for a lucky break, but that's the only way we're going to win games like these. It all balances out in the end!!
stupid plays

I dont think the Refs cost us the game, but they cost us key oppurtunities within the game and......
We had this game won and its our fault we didnt seal the victory.

Oh that's the problem then. With HDTV, you need to be further away to see the picture properly. But I have to agree with you, it was an INT. There are a lot of things that could have swung this game for us: ifGeneral Failure wrote:I saw the replay several times in high definition from three feet away.
