I agree. Great game. I wish we coulda got the win here, but I'll take the progress we are making. As long as we beat Dallas in two weeks, I'll be very happy with how things are going.

I look forward to the Eagles and Skins battling it out down to the wire for years to come.

If the skins had any consistent offense, they would be battling the Eagles for homefield...

They are getting there. I expect a lot more next season, and hopefully our injured players will be healed up by then too =)

Hope none of your guys that went down got hurt too bad. I didn't hear anything about anyone getting any serious injuries, aside from Springs Concussion.

to be honest i dont see the progress.the same things have happened all year.penalties, poor clock management, and very poor decisions with the ball. one example please tell me we dont have one player on our team to become a fb on fourth and one.you leave portis back there with no blocker.dont understand it.if he is not the big back we need then someone to block for him.whats up with this dink and dunk crap.if hes got the arm which he does then exploit a defense with it but wait that is where the poor decisions come into play.any play he throws over twenty yards makes me hold my breath.does anybody feel the same way.i hate to be the pessimist here but when are we going to start winning these games.and one last thing:why do we get so many delay of games.we must get 3 a game.that is one of the dumbest penalty you can have.oh well time for the offseasonand the draft.

I agree. I've promised myself not to say one word about the freebie in the first quarter, lest the bile start rising in my throat again.
Great effort. The Eagles showed why they've come this far. They go for the kill at the end, something we clearly need to learn to do.

Well since we normally haven't played well on "Night" games we definitely raised the bar. Now we have to figure out how to get over it - the bar that is. Now I am heading to one! Hair of the DOG! -drinking

Jason Short, special teams monster, has a broken leg. He's done for the year. Hollis Thomas dislocated his elbow, but he should be okay.

Hollis Thomas dislocated his elbow,

A good old-fashioned NFC East game. Hit and hit back, as it is supposed to be played around here.

Good to see that Thomas is not too seriously hurt, although I am mildly amused that Thomas got hurt trying to arm-tackle Clinton Portis...who is more than just a shifty "little" guy.

Poor Hollis though. He hasn't made it through a whole season in four years. One time he didn't even make it out of the tunnel on opening day.

I don't exactly remember what happened, but didn't someone's helmet hit him on that play?

I have to say I was impressed with Jevon Kearse's tenacity. He must've limped off after every other play, then was right back in the thick of it making plays.

Also, props to TO for living up to his word. No TD = No flamboyant celebration.

Say what you will about TO's celebrations, at least he doesn't do a dance everytime he makes a routine play like some players.

What, you don't like Freddie Mitchell's 20 minute jazzercise routine either? :)

Five minutes of tapping a pretend watch because "it's bout time!"
Ten minutes of the pointer dog first down signal
Four minutes and fifty eight seconds of stomping around before ...

two seconds of The Belt.

I am by no means a fan of these celebrations, but I love Freddie Mitchell's "belt" routine...

NO!!!!!!! I'm tired of trading our picks. You already have our 5th rounder; however, I do think Thrash was worth it.

I'll trade the belt routine for Joe Salave'a's guitar dance straight up.

Dhani Jones already does a guitar strum. You see it about as often as Freddie's belt routine.

Speaking of T.O., I don't know if you could see this on TV or not, but Sean Taylor jawed at him all night, and I mean every time they were both on the field, ST was yelling at him. After every dropped ball or catch or block or every route that the ball didn't come his way, ST was on him. I was impressed at the audacity of this rookie talking smack to one of the best receivers and football while having the best game of his career to back it up. Props ST. Get the off-the-field stuff straight brother, cause you can be an all-time great without it.

Yeh 8). I was about to say. Hmmmm....Do I smell karma?

Instead of saying "SPRINGS GOT JACKED UP!" with a happy tone, you could say "I hope Springs is ok."

Because its fawkin obvious that he got knocked up. We all saw it. So tell us something we don't know. Show some concern for a person. He's human just like the rest of us, not just a player on the field.

I bet when you saw him lay unconcious (you're probably smirking right now), you were like "Yes!" and knowing the person you are you probably hoped he wouldn't regain conciousness. But hey, that's just the typical Eagles fan. Don't get too involved in the game.
It's just football. Don't mix it up with reality.

Eagles are a very good team, but unfortunately the fans have to screw it up for them. Maybe that's why your team will not win a superbowl. Be careful man, karma will come back and bite you in the arse. COUGH NO SUPERBOWLS FOR U COUGH COUGH CHOKE. Screw Eagle fans. They're pretty much all the same.
1.5.2. Happy Passover! :)
