Skins fans, just wanted to say...

Post by SD_Eagle »

good game.

I felt the game was a lot closer than what the final score said. We needed a wakeup call at halftime, but I have to give credit where credit is due, the Redskins Defense is excellent. Anyways, good luck with the rest of your season.

(Hope this is the right forum :?: )

Thanks. I agree it was closer (atleast until the third quarter) than the final total said. Holding the Eagles to 7 and being down by one going into the 3rd said a lot about the Skins' defense. Penalties aside, the Eagles played a better ball game, so I therefore congratulate your team.

Until we meet again in Washington,

Wow! An Eagles fan with class!! Thanks for the kind words. It was a hard fought game to be sure...but the Skins morphed into an entirely different team after blowing that opportunity on the 10-yard-line. Hopefully, we'll give the Eagles a run for their money in a few weeks. One thing is for sure, though. The Eagles know the Skins aren't pushovers!

If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it.
