I predict the Redskins in the off-season will dump Patrick Ramsey (who goes on to become the Packers' next franchise quarterback) and trade a first round draft pick for Drew Brees AND sign Kurt Warner to a $50 million dollar seven year contract.
The Skins will then trade Rod Gardener and a draft pick for some center somewhere and we'll just fill his #2 spot with James Thrash. We'll also cut and sign a few more starters on offense and replace them with no-name guys but pay them like stars. During the pre-season there will be an open competition between Brees, Warner, and Brunell. Thanks to Brunell having already been here for a year, he will look the best and be named the starter once again.
In the first game of the season, Brunell will unload a buttload of hitch passes, screens, and dump-offs. One of them to Portis will go for an 80 yard touchdown, and Coles will also break one long for about 40 yards, thus adding about 120 misleading yards to Brunell's statistics.
We'll win the first game of the season 20-18 over the 49ers and everyone will be talking about how Gibbs is a genius and this is the season we go back to the playoffs, and how we'll be able to make a run at having a perfect 16-0 season.
We'll go onto finish the season 1-15.
My Prediction for Next Year

Okay! I'll bite! What sort of response are you looking for. This statement has to be for something else because it certainly will not hold water with most of the people at this site.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I guess no one on this site has heard of sarcasm. I thought your post was pretty funny.
And seriously lets hope that no matter what Brunell is NEVER in a position to start for the redskins again. They should offer him a coaching position or consultant position for the duration of his contract with a LARGE pay cut, that would spread out the hit to the salary cap.

actually it wasn't funny. it was inflammatory. it was just a rerun of what every sportswriter and non-fan has said. it's just old. i am guilty myself for even responding to such a post.
You got to be kidding me man . Things aint that bad. I think we all had high hopes with gibbs returning and all but its only his first season back . Just be patient Gibbs will digg in and adjust to the new league and then well see how things go. At least our defense is set for next year and we cant get any worse one and 15 no way .
Sean Taylor starting free safety Heavens team!
