The game Mark Brunell was wating for!
This has got to be the game that Mark Brunell was waiting for. Even though Ramsey outperformed Brunell tonight, the end result was the same....actually worse. We didn't score a single touchdown. Now Brunell has something to point to to say..."See! It wasn't me afterall!"
I couldn't help but think this after C. Samuels, and R> Brown singlehandedly sabotaged what should have been the momentum changing drive.
Though I'll never abandon the Redskins you've got to admit...thay make it pretty hard to root for them!

As someone else here said....this game was all about momentum. If we didn't have to settle for field goals, and were able to capitalize on turnovers we would have won. Despite the lopsided score, this game really hinged on a few key plays....most of them mistakes by the redskins....or refs.....
The game was over as soon as Ray Brown flinched inside the red zone. If we had scored a touchdown there, then the defense would have had a reason to fight. If we didn't have to settle for fieldgoals on our first two drives then the game would have looked completely different. You can't expect the defense to play such inspired football when they know that the offense won't do jack with what the defense gives them.
I don't know.....perhaps that is the fault of the QB....not being able to score inside the Red Zone that is.....It sure doesn't help when the offense sabotages itself everytime the endzone gets close.
What team did Ray Brown used to play for?

chaddukes ignored a glaring FACT when he wrote:I couldn't help but think this after C. Samuels, and R> Brown singlehandedly sabotaged what should have been the momentum changing drive.
Bro, let's not forget your boy's STUPID penalty that handed the Eagles a touchdown, while we were still alive in the game. Sean Taylor's pick was nice, and I'm sure it's helping him reach an individual contract incentive, but his penalty cost the team. And that stinks.
As for Mark, while 'his season may be over (let's not forget, Ramsey could get injured), he's still part of this team for years to come, so his "chapter" ain't over. It's being edited as we speak.
Back and better than ever!
Oh, I don't disagree. That was a stupid idea from Taylor, and we got what we deserved. But he is a rookie, and Ray Brown and Samuels.....whats there excuse? I mean I understand the noise is a factor, but this just seems to happen too often. Don't get me wrong. Ray Brown has played very well against some of the best DE's in the league this year. He has done an admirable job filling in for Jansen, but he has also be instrumental in killing imprtant drives by making costly amateur mistakes.
My point isn't solely to malign the O-line. Its to show that our problems go deeper than the QB position.
