From Yahoo: Eagles 31 - Skins 0
Vinnie Iyer, Sporting News
"Washington at Philadelphia. Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens will shred a blitzing 'Skins defense with big play after big play. Patrick Ramsey will be shredded by a blitzing Eagles defense that will deliver big hit after big hit. Eagles 31, Redskins 0."
Evidently nobody read too much into this game. I do think we'll be chalking this up as a loss, but 0 points? Not likely.

Welcome to the site! I also would be surprised if they can shut us down and score that many points.
I do respect TO & DM but I really do not see us giving up that many points. Plus I would be surprised if their defence can completely stop our offense.
This is not as good a D as they have had and I think we can score some points. I also think that we will see more running this week as they are not that strong against the run PLUS I think the game plan will be to try and keep their O off the field as much as possible.
Realistically, a big game from our O might keep this respectable, and, who knows?

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Ah! about the score, The last time I saw it, it was still 0 - 0
I wonder What have I been missing so far???

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Yeah, this final score prediction is IMHO completely ludicrous. I am surprised however, that our visitors from Concrete Field haven't jumped all over this thread yet.
RIP 21

I saw that article on sporting news. I had to email the guy. Titled: Are you drunk....
You must have been when you wrote that the Eagles will shutout the Skins
31-0. Ye have little faith in Patrick Ramsey. He will put up big
numbers this weekend, silencing all debates on who should have been the
starter. With the Eagles giving up numbers on the ground as well, you
don't think Clinton Portis is going to punch one through? If Vinny T
can tear up that Eagles secondary, Ramsey surely can. I would have
certainly thought Sporting News has a drinking on the job policy, but it
appears they encourage there writers to do so before they submit
stories.

When you write to a reporter to rip them it helps to be better informed than they are.
Testaverde did not "tear up that Eagles secondary." He did tear up the linebackers.
Jason Whitten, who was covered by linebackers all night, had 133 yards on 9 catches with 2 touchdowns.
The Dallas wide receivers combined for 80 yards on 7 catches and 0 touchdowns.
Also, it's "their writers." Not "there writers." These are the little things that trip you up on the road to being taken serious.
They probably liked your use of the word ye.

Thanks for the English lesson teach! Did I think I was going to be taken seriously when he probably gets like 300+ emails a day from people like me? Not really, did I expect to see my email on the front page of The Sporting News, titled: Sender rips Sporting News writer new A#$hole? No, but next time I write to any news affiliation, I will be sure to PM you, so you can proof read it! Lighten up dude!
