Predictions for this week against PHILLY!
I was just wondering what you guys expect out of this weeks game. My prediction is :
EAGLES-42
Skins-10
I expect T.O to be dancing in the Ezone at least twice. At least 1 TD from our D(Lito, Brown, Dawkins).Westy over 100yds rushing. And at least 3 sacks for the D(kearse, Rayburn, Trotter)
What do you guys think?

Welcome to the board PHILADELPHIAEAGLES I know it's hard but play nice
Nope we did something total different against the Bengals, in fact we rested Portis just for for guys and that stellar run defense of yours
You have a pretty good reciever too
Ramsey is starting this Sunday you'll remember this for a long time
Skins over 20 for the 1st time all year
Iggles 10 ..... TO will have more fun in the locker room with the naked lady

I really have no idea what to expect. I thought Portis was going to rush for 200+ yards against the Bengals but Gibbs & Co. came out throwing. Throwing! Against the worst rushing defense in the NFL. Throwing! Okay, I've vented enough there.
Now. The way to beat the birds is....say it with me...rushing the ball, controlling the clock, keeping the ball out of the hands of their offense. When their offense does have the ball, stop Westbrook first and then focus on T.O.. If we can do all of this, we win.
Now, that begs the question. WILL we do all of this?
I doubt it.
I expect Gibbs will come out throwing the ball again, attempting to show that replacing Brunell with Ramsey was the "right" decision. I hope he doesn't do that! Let's run the ball, guys!
As far as the Eagles offense is concerned, we'll be able to prevent T.O. from getting those long TD passes. No problem there. My biggest worry is the short passing game. The Bengals ate us alive last week with the short passing game and McNabb can, too...unless he plays like, well, McNabb of the past.
We'll see.
My optimistic prediction:
Skins: 17
Eagles: 14
My realistic prediction:
Skins: 10
Eagles: 31

Your dreaming no way the Skins get 10

While I do think Philly will handle us easily I don't see Westy getting a buck!!

Rudi busted off 102 and a score, playing at Fedex, with a worse O-line, and no real burst. Westy has more speed and is much better at bouncing the ball to the outside and hitting holes faster. Granted, he's no Portis, but he should at least equal Rudi's effort. Your front four just got blown off the line by the Bengals mediocre o-line.

It doesn't really matter who's playing OLB for the Eagles,
ey should be your leading reciever for this game. Dhani, Nate Wayne, and Simoneau have done a terrible job defending any pass that isn't a screen. Add in Simoneau's uncanny ability to hit a guy and bounce off and
ey aught to have a nice day.
But is it a good idea to have one less blocker back there for Ramsey? It's no secret that the kid takes a lot of hits.
Portis' day may very well depend on how many snaps Sam Rayburn plays. He's lightyears ahead of Corey Simon and Darwin Walker right now. Where Simon gets pancaked and Darwin has his momentum used against him Rayburn has mauled and faught. If he and Hollis Thomas can cause havoc along the line Trotter might be in position to make a play. It happened once or twice during the Dallas game, but I'm convinced it wasn't intentional.

you won't put up 42 points on us... granted you will probably win the game... but 42-10 is crazy....
28 points is the most we have given up this year... and that is to a GB offense that is more balanced and better than yours....
philly fans are going to be disappointed again this year... you can't run... or stop the run.... it will haunt you....
See right now I'm on lettuce... Pretty soon I'll be on fries... After that.. The grill... And after that... Comes Assistant. Manager.... and That's When the Big Bucks roll in!
The trash talk from the 'illi fans is just that ... Trash!
Watch out:
- The Redskins have nothing to loose - they are not expected to win ... they can go out and have fun playing ball
- The beagles have a short week after playing Monday night
- We have a new QB and the O seems more energized ... we will have the deep threat in the passing game plus the running game
- Portis is rested after not being used extensively last week
- The Skins may use WRs that have now been used much thus far this year (McCants) and therefore they not be familiar to the beagles
- The D is playing great!!
- The beagles don't take the Skins seriously
- The Skins are due a breakout game
I think the stage is set for an upset. It may not be pretty, but I look for the Skins on top of the beagles 24-13!

Fun only lasts until the hole starts getting deep.

This is based on what? Purely opinion and irrelevant.

They have to work for it.

I really do like the matchup we have the e-girls.
- Our D is very aggressive, and play with a lot of and energy. This is something the Philly had trouble with against both Pitts and Balitmore.
- Ram-sey Ram-sey...a spark to the offense. He showed some light near the end of the game. The eagles showed that their D is pretty bad. The cowpukes really didn't have a bad day offensivly speaking.

Pete Kendall is a MAN and a half..
I'm thinking this is going to be a low scoring game. I'm going 20-17 in favor of the skins. It's going to be a nail bitter then comes down to the last minutes of the game. We hold it together and pay the refs to be fair and we win it.

Hey 1fan you are having Spurrier team flashbacks. We are not the team that implodes in the second half. Gibbs can pull us out of a deficiet so don't count us down even if we look that way in the begining.

Hey PhillyphaninDC by your spelling I can tell you are a graduate of the finest education system in the world. Good old Calvert County. Do you watch the games at Beach Cove?
Gibbs has put together plans to pull us out. Brunnell just screwed them up.
