I think Philthy's light years ahead of us. But Pittsburgh gives me a sliver of hope. If we can run the ball HARD and get ahead, then our blitzing defense could be in a position to keep McNabb uncomfortable.
Otherwise: We get obliterated.
The downside: Pittsburgh has Ward and Burress. We have a disappointing Coles and Trash.
Yeah, not so fast. Last year we (a 5-11 team) were a 2 point conversion away from overtime against them (almost-NFC champions). Division games are never gimmies, and underdogs generally have their best shot in them.
Most of the time, two rivals from the same division will play a hard, tight game.
Witness GB and Chicago, or GB and Detroit.
It has to do with knowing each other so well. Sure, there's the occasional blowout, but those are the exceptions rather than the rule.
Believe me, we'll be up for this game.

SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!"
JPFair- A fan's fan. RIP, brother
The Eagles have a stellar offense, but a so-so defense. So, as long as "the Williams" crew can keep McNabb in check, and I think they can, we'll be in the game. As long as the offense gives it away (i.e. interceptions).
You guys are all mixed up. The Ravens are the ratbirds. The Cardinals are the Woody Woodpeckers. The Eagles are the buzzards. The Falcons are the dirty birds. The Seahawks are the seachickens.
I got your number. I steal your thunder. I got your mother's maiden name tattooed on my arm.

Ah, see. Aren't you guys glad the guy with a bottle full of malt liquor was around to straighten us out?
Hope for the best and plan for the worst! I hope we win. We can if we keep it close and don't make to many mistakes. We need to catch balls. We also need to impliment a shot gun set up. Indy will use it when they see the D-fense is blitzing in order to create more room and time to get the ball out. Keep Portis back their for blocking if needed but hand off if available. We need to use the play-action more. All a defender needs to do is watch the QB. If it looked like play action it held the defenders a few seconds up close. If the RB never came close to Ramsey then they either backed up for coverage or rushed him. GET COOLEY MORE INVOLVED.
Our defense scared me last week. I thought maybe our opponents have figured out what we are doing. We seemed to not have anyone get close to the QB? We need to rattle Mcnabb. I know he is dangrouse when he is on the run but we need to stop the run as we are good at and rattle him to make sure he has the happy feet syndrome. If he doesn't plant his feet he is not accurate. Taylor will have to step back a little and be prepared for T.O. I to hope Taylor lays a few licks on him to shake him up. An interseption would be awsome! IF THE D-FENSE PLAYS LIKE LAST WEEK EXPECT A LOSS.
So , What are you going to be when you grow up? I wanna be superbowl contender? Naaaahhhh, that would be aiming waaaaay too high!
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
