Is Arrington penalizing us for contract dispute?

Post by UPSGuy »

First let me say, L.A. is one of my all-time favorite Skins players but his loss time for injury seems a bit odd for a guy that has been healthy for most of his college and pro career. I get the feeling that if his $6.5 million contract dispute was settled before the start of the season he might find it a little bit easier to get back on the field. Just my feeling, no facts(obviously), just speculation.
It pains my heart to see Coach Gibbs go through this bad season. I hope Ramsey gets the chance to show what he can do. He is good and I think he can be great.
I am all over the place like a Brunell checkoff play. God bless the Redskins!!!!

TRADE ARRINGTON while he has value! This would beagood offseason move. If he is bitching about money and the defense is this good without him, then give him up on draft day for multiple picks. Heck, throw Chad morton and brunell in on the deal. Workout the money situations. WE NEED TO STOP OVERPAYING FOR VETERANS, ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!

If he is not 95% healthy, why bother playing him now would be my question. Keep him healthy so we dont have a limping LaVarr next year at the start of the season.

Trade Arrington?!?

Getting rid of Lavar is not the answer. This is a guy that has said if he's not a Redskins he'd rather not play football anymore. Now that may be a little extreme but he is a dedicated Skin. That being said I think the front office and/or his agent has screwed him over.
Brunell has shown the league he has no trade value....

Come on...

All the news reports that I've seen on Lavar have said that he initially tried to come back too soon and as a result further aggravated his knee and that's why he's sitting on the sidelines right now. So if anything, he was too eager to get back in and play. He vowed to have a monster season after his cousin's (i think it was his cousin) death so I think that he's going to be on the field as soon as possible. It has to be painful for a guy as intense as Lavar to be sitting out and I would seriously doubt that he would take out his frustrations over his contract on his teammates by not playin.

I'm no LaVar apologist, but I think this is a bit of a stretch. LaVar is a bit of an ego-maniac and seeing Lemar Marshall fill in the way he has, has got to be killing #56. Not to mention, the training staff has been examining him and they aren't going to let him pull a stunt like this.

I dont apoligize for no man, but yesterday we need Lavar like a bum needs soap.

We had no pass rush yesterday and Palmer had much time to pass. The Bengals passing game aint that good, but they picked us apart like we were playing against Tom Brady.

I really dont think Lavar would have spent the last week and a half in Alabama to just skunk the team.

I know that his injury is for real and when he gets better maybe these type of threads about our best players will cease.

Maybe :-k
