Strahan Suffers Torn Pectoral Muscle
New York Giants All-Pro defensive end Michael Strahan strained a pectoral muscle in the third quarter of the game with the Chicago Bears. Strahan was hurt with about 9 minutes to play. The team said that his return was questionable. Earlier in the game, the Giants lost defensive end Keith Washington with a strained knee. New York also lost offensive left tackle Luke Petitgout with a concussion in the second half.
