D-Mac, Barrow Inactive Again

Post by Jake »

Mike Barrow's debut as a Redskin will have to wait at least another week. Barrow joins fellow linebacker LaVar Arrington and kicker John Hall as the Redskins' inactives for this Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field.

Also inactive is defensive tackle Jermaine Haley. This is the first game that Haley has been inactive this season.

Barrow has yet to play a snap this season as he recovers from tendonitis in his left knee. There have been signs in recent weeks that he could return to action, but team doctors deemed him not ready.

The Redskins' complete list of inactive players is as follows: Haley, Arrington, Barrow, Hall, wide receivers Darnerien McCants and Antonio Brown and offensive lineman Vaughn Parker.

The Redskins' third quarterback is Tim Hasselbeck.

For the Lions, wide receiver Tai Streets is inactive due to a hamstring injury. He will be replaced in the starting lineup by Az-Zahir Hakim.

The Lions' complete list of inactives is as follows: cornerback Chris Cash, fullback Stephen Trejo, linebacker Donte Curry, offensive linemen Victor Rogers and Kelly Butler, Streets and linebacker Boss Bailey.

Bailey, listed as out for the game earlier last week, will be replaced in the starting lineup by rookie Teddy Lehman.

The Lions' third quarterback is Rick Mirer.

Today's game gets underway at 1 p.m. ET. It is the first time the Redskins have played in Detroit's new stadium, Ford Field.
