Yes Ramsey did move us down field, but what good does that do when you just throw a pick to end the drive anyway. Thats not Joe Gibbs football. We just need a decent Quarterback that will not throw picks and we don't have that right now.

Did Brunell NOT do the same thing last Sunday? Brunell IS NOT playing Gibbs football either UNLESS Gibbs football entails overthrowing WR's, wasting timeouts, delaying the game, throwing INT's, and standing on the sidelines alone. If thats the case then he's our man.

People, we CANNOT hold that Giants game against Ramsey. He was in a 100% passing situation. The odds are against him. Put him in at the beggining of the game and I doubt he'd throw that many INT's because we'd have a good mix of run and pass.

He did move the team up and down the field with the defense knowing he would be throwing on every down. :hmm: How would he do if the defense had to also worry about running plays. What would thet do for the ground game :?:

Said I'm not gonna bash Brunell  didn't say I was gonna stop hopeing for a change

How does 2-14 sound to all of you out there?

Gibbs NEVER said Brunell was the better QB he has always said Mark gives us the best chance to win.
Meaning until he can get the O-line up to par then he needs someone in ther that will rely on their feet and mental skills when the pocket breaksdown or the preasure comes and not someone who will rely only on arm strength. Mark was and IS a good QB just not for what we need done right now or when we fall behind. Ramsey is fully supporting Gibbs and his decision to continue to play Brunell because

1. He knows he'd get killed if he were the starter right now
2. He knows there are some things that he still needs to learn

Don't be fooled he aon't happy on the bench but he sees a benifit to being there.. Brunell has been rolling out and the pocket has been moving alot lately this maybe for Patrick's benifit. He has to learn to move in the pocket and seeing it happening during the game and how the recievers react can only help.
I think I'm more ready for Ramsey to take over this team than anyone here ...OK CLL & RC want it pretty bad too (we all felt he should have been the starter coming off the bye...I lost money on it  )but I think Gibbs has this move as part as is big piture but the O-line has to improve for him to make this move. I be ready to see it when JG is ready to show us

Perhaps Gibbs want put Ramsey in because the line sucks.

Brunell is mobile.
