I totally agree JP. If Gibbs thinks that Brunell is the one who gives us the best chance, so be it.
Have no fear, Moss will make it happen.

I cant support Joe Gibbs anymore... There needs to be a change, Brunell aint cutting it... Maybe Joe wants us to suck this year in order to get a high draft pick, cause I cant see any other reason why he keeps Mark in there.

No, DEHog, that was not the name and you know it as well. It may not be Ramsey either, but obviously we will never know. Brunell does NOT have the tools anymore to lead us that far. Hell, I'll be impressed if he can lead us to 2 more wins.

Count me in. I might think that Ramsey should start now, but I'd trust Gibbs any day of the week over my "expert" opinion.

Shoot me dead for saying this, but I'm ready for a change.
I should've listened when Welch said so last week.
Brunell is as clueless as Ramsey. Ramsey is younger.
When I do the math, it comes out "Hasselbeck".
'Course, I suck at math.

wow, don't support Joe Gibbs? Redskins4life? sure don't seem like it with comments like that. Gibbs is old school. In Gibbs day, QBs sat on the bench watching and learning for 3 or 4 years. Favre sat on the bench for a few years. Steve Young sat a few years. Manning took a few years to become a great QB.

PRam is a 3rd year QB basically in his rookie season. I'm betting that Gibbs wants to break PRam of his bad habits and give him good solid fundamentals before he throws him to the Lions again. If he goes in too soon and gets demolished again, it may break him forever. Give Gibbs some time. Mebbe Hass is the answer for this season, but that may also hurt PRams confidence even more.

We've only played 7 games, we've been in all of them and probably should be 5-2 right now. We are not that far off, and when the time is right, this team we'll look completely different while looking exactly the same.

Stick around and watch it happen. You'll appreciate it more. I'd hate to be you when we do win the Superbowl again, and you have to think back to the time when you had lost all faith in Gibbs after 7 friggin games....

Count me in too JP - I support Joe Gibbs.

These are trying times but I have faith in Joe Gibbs. I cannot imagine anyone else giving us a better chance for a team that will be competitive every week. We are almost there now, I have faith in this coach and his ability to pull it all together.

I know that our record is frustrating and the QB situation is questionable but IMO we are a better team and have a better chance with this coach. I do not want a quick fix, I hope we are going to be a very good team every week. Joe will not mortgage the future and we are allowed to question his methods AND his success or failures but I think he gives us a better chance than anyone else.

This team is going to be very good soon and it will be because of Joe Gibbs.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Gibbs will make everything right. The Skin's have been in every game this year which can't be said about a lot of games the past 10 years. Joe's teams have always finished strong and I think that will happen this year also. 7 games does not make a season.

Count me in. I support JG 100%.

Don't forget. Not only does Joe Gibbs knows a lot more about football than the rest of us do, he also sees a lot more of Brunell/Ramsey/Hasselbeck in practices than we do.

I'm at 95%, I can not agree with his QB decision, each passing game, I'll be going down 5%. 7 Games does not make a season, but when your 2 and 5, haven't reached the insurmountable 20 point barrier and somehow think we are getting better, I begin to become suspect. I don't think this is the same coach as the first go around. I hope he gets back in the swing of things soon.

Gibbs history is one of making the most of his QB's skills. I stand baffled by his continued insistence on using Brunell... but...

Gibbs... HOF bonifides
Gibbs... 4 SB appearances, 3 victories

You know, I'm betting that he continues to buy time for Ramsey. He sees something that tells him that the damage done to that young talent by Spurrier was substantial. He wants to give the kid the best shot possible to reach his potential... Remember that when he first got into games under Spurrier, that he was lighting it up. Standing in the pocket to the end, taking a horrendous beating, as Spurrier offered him no protection whatsoever. Tough as he was, Ramsey got the snot beat out of him. It's one thing for this to happen to a 12 year vet... quite another for a rook. Does different things to their heads.

I'm thinking that Gibbs will continue to take the heat until he is confident that Ramsey is not only ready to play, but is ready to light it up. A huge game that would rebuild his confidence in one big blow-up. That's Gibbs.

Is this kid not just a more talented version of Rypien? We know what Gibbs did with him.

I think its not so much that Gibbs is being blindly loyal to Brunell, as it is that he is buying as much time as possible to get Ramsey ready, in a season that is, really, already a wash out.

Or not.

WOW you guys support Gibbs, but I bet you guys did not have this much support for the other coaches.

The NFL has passed Gibbs by, just face it. The players are faster, peoples thinking is faster and more creative. He needs a real GM. He also needs to get a better grip on todays player and their mentalities.
