I recorded the game against the Packers and was watching it again and noticed something that has been a constant so far throughout the season.
It seems that Chris Samuels is struggling all year. I don't see him holding his blocks or making holes on running plays and his guy tends to be the one that is putting pressure on Brunnel most of time.
I know the line plays as a group and people say that if one person struggles then it effects the others. However I hear people say Raymer is awful but I think thats expected.
Samuels on the other hand is supposed to be an All-Pro but I'm just not seeing it. He is making way too much money and wants a big contract on top of that.
I think he is a good player but not worth the money and in my opinion has not lived up to his potential, considering he has been in the league for 5 years and hasn't made any strides I wouldn't care if he gets traded or let go at the end of the season.

The offensive line has had its fair share of woes, starting with the loss of Jansen. In my opinion Samuels won't be back because he'll probably ask for more money than he's worth, which he can do given the hype behind the name (ala Champ Bailey). In my opinion he hasn't played poorly, but he hasn't been great by any stretch of the imagination. A dissapointment given the high standards he was setting for himself at the beginning of this season.
Buges has only had one season to meld these guys together, just like Gibbs has only had 7 games to get this team into form. We're so much better than last year already, and it looks to me like we can only go up in the years to come (especially with the return of Jansen next season).

The line looked horrible at times. Chris is getting burnt due to the fact that Brunell is stepping back tooooooo far and then he steps up.
When the line does hold Brunell overthrows. They need to synch up

Last year Trung Canidate averaged 4.2 yards a game, why isnt Portis??
I just dont know any more.
