Morton

WHy aren't we putting Morton in on third downs? Even when he was healthy.

He is as fast as anyone but Portis and also he catches well.

Plus, did you see his blocking the preseason? He took guys two times his size!

he's a bum. i actually liked him on 3rds, but damn, he was brought in to do returns, and completly blows at it. betts did better yesterday. morton is one guy i almost bet the house that won't be here next year. returners are found, not paid. that was another snyder/spurrier/cerrato mistake that gibbs will have to fix.

I know! I'd rather Betts dropping the ball in a touchback more than Morton's could-go-all-the-ways almost every kick returns!

:)

I'd have to say Morton was the biggest bust big name signing in the last couple of years. He does nothing and gets good money for it. Anyone can waive for a fair catch or fall down at the 23 every time. He won't be missed this season I think that return was his best one this year, then he gets hurt. Oh well. I hope they make thrash full time return man and activate DMac in his place.

agreed. morton has been a bum since we got him.. i'd rather see portis stay in the game on 3rd down - he has good hands. morton was supposed to make a difference in our return game, but it turns out he's even less explosive than brian mitchell in his last few years.

I think Morton played very well yesterday before he got hurt. He was our best KR by far.

Unfortunatly, that's not saying much.
