HAPPY DAYS!!!!!!!!

Post by spudstr04 »

 i know that this is cruel, but I am happy that there is a shot that Favre might not play that much....he sat out of practice yesterday and "Favre's right hand is swollen and black and blue after he sprained it Sunday against Dallas." Also... "Marco Rivera has a sprained ankle, and Ahman Green has a sore Achilles' tendon" With these key players not giving 110%, the Skins can take advantage and beat them.......GO SKINS!!!!!!!!!11

I know he will play, he will never sit out until he's dead....@ NFL.com...they were saying that he won't be prepared for the Skins Blitzing schemes if he doesn't practices, he hasn't taken a snap since last Sunday...he strained ligaments and has some bone structure damage in his hand....I bet if he plays...we will blitz and get to him and hurt him.....he will not play the WHOLE GAME..I am guaranteeing it! They also said on NFL.com that the thing the Packers are worrying about is his ability to take a snap cleanly....if he fumbles a couple times, that will help out the Skins also.....GO SKINS!!!!!!!!!!!1

Ahman Green is hurting too

Packers' Favre, Green miss practice

Favre is nursing a swollen right hand on his throwing arm and Green is out with a sore Achilles' tendon. Both players suffered their problems in last Sunday's win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Packers offensive lineman Marco Rivera also was sidelined Thursday with a sprained ankle and knee injury.

Green Bay will have a tough task this Sunday versus the Washington Redskins if all three players can't go. Favre has started 196 straight games and has thrown a TD pass in 32 consecutive contests.

Favre also needs 11 more completions to pass John Elway (4,123) for second all-time. Green, meanwhile, has 649 yards and four touchdowns on 135 carries this season. Both players are probable against the Redskins.

Hey man I'm with you, but it's wishful thinking, Favre doesn't require the reps, and as far as the blitz is concerned, I am also wary of that. He ain't Jonathan Quinn, or Kyle Boller, I'm afraid if we blitz too much he will make us pay.

#4 does not need to practice. He will play and play well, I hope none of the guys on the D think that a less that 100% Favre is any less dangerous. If anything I bet it makes him more dangerous. 197 starts at QB. The guy is superhuman.

Remember how well he played after his dad died?

Now he his hurt and his wife is sick. I too think he is very dangerous, and I hope our D isn't underestimating him.

I doubt if anyone on this planet will underestimate Brett Favre. The only way to win this game is to physically beat the crap out of Favre and force him out of the game. Our offense simply can't score enough points to compete with a Favre led team. I hope I'm wrong but our defense has not faced a really good offense all year. If we allow Favre to get in a rhythm it could be a long day for our young safeties.

Green is hurting that is a good thing, but they do have a couple of more than capable backups in Davenport and Fisher. Both pretty good backs, but I still believe our D will shut down their run game.
However, I believe that Farve will have a pretty good day, he is a smart guy and will go after our safties all day.
