Could we be #1 in the NFC east this year?

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Could we be #1 in the NFC east this year?

Post by redskinfan »

I can honestly say we have a great chance this year! After watching the Giants completley crumble in front of my eyes last night and hearing some ESPN analysts talking about how the Eagles will have a rough time being NFC east champs again due to Hugh Douglas and other key guys leaving. We all know Dallas is still going through a transition period and won't compete with us.

Anybody who went to training camp and saw how great our team has been looking and just the feel traing camp has,it's just comforting to see the chemistry building. It's so much diffrent then last years training camp where there were no proven recievers,no offensive line(gaurds actually),and scary quarterbacks in the backfield.I'm just so stoked for the season to start,it's funny i can't even get any sleep 'cause I'm so excitited for the pre-season game against carolina tommorrow. No matter what happens I really believe we will be so much better!!! GO SKINS

Ahhhh, it's a preseason game (1st one I might add) and the skins have just been playing themselves for 2 weeks. I'm in the philly market and can honestly say, this is the team to beat. I hate eagle fans more than pissboy fans so this is killing me!

I am a HUGE REDSKINS fan. I live in south jersey (philadephia's market) and HATE the eagles. I've, much like yourself, lived through every up and down with the burgundy and gold. I'm getting fed up with being laughed at and ridiculed because our owner goes out and maxes out the cap and we have NOTHING to show for it. It's become embarrassing in some instances. I would LOVE for the skins to be competitive and win the division this season, but they have me in the mode of waiting for the other shoe to drop. And I'm trying not to read into preseason.

That shows he is not biased, if he can look at a team he hates and thinks there good it means he is objective. One thing we have to account for is injury we don't know who is going to get injured or not. Like two years ago when Jansan got hurt, that killed our season.

Well, the highest form of flattery is imitation. It's my way of "bowing down to the pink straw master".
