Marcus Wiley

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Marcus Wiley

Post by Redskin Stouff »

I was definitley hoping the Skins would sign him for some pass rushing help. When Dallass signed him, I nearly threw a fit! Thank God we didn't do it!

I once again bow to Gibbs and the front office for not signing him.

Marcus Wiley stats after 6 games:

9 tackles. That's it.

No sacks. No pressures. No assists. No fumble recoveries. No tipped passes.

He's on pace for 24 tackles this season. Not bad for a few million a year.
How many more sleeps until next season?

I wanted Wiley so bad as well during the off-season. I thought he would make an EXCELLENT pass rusher. But as I look back, I am completely content with the descisions made by the Redskins staff.
Have no fear, Moss will make it happen.
