Dolphins End Leaves Team

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Dolphins End Leaves Team

DE quits Dolphins over lack of playing time
Associated Press
Posted: 1 day ago

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) - Defensive end Chidi Ahanotu has left the Miami Dolphins after complaining about a lack of playing time.

Ahanotu played sparingly in each of Miami's five games, all losses. The 12-year veteran signed as a free agent at the end of the preseason.

"You have Jason Taylor, Jay Williams and David Bowens. There was no room for Chidi," Dolphins defensive lineman Bryan Robinson said Thursday. "In this business, everybody won't be satisfied. It's just the nature of the beast."

Ahanotu missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, and told the team he wants to be released or traded. Coach Dave Wannstedt declined to comment beyond saying Ahanotu won't play this weekend at Buffalo.

OK I'm going to go out on a limb  and say DW will be the first coach fired this year. Could come as early as Monday if they lose to the Bills.

Man, don't go too far out on that limb... it's a short one :0). You're right - agree 100%. Plus, who was in charge of bringing in AJ Feely? I don't think he'd make it on our team as a #3...

Man, I figured Marino just didn't like being off of TV when he quit the Dolphins job, but obviously he must've seen something there he did not like!

My wife is a Dolfan and it already has been a long season. Ricky's smoke show sure started a domino effect.
