Thehuddlereport.com's Mock Draft. (Updated Today)

Post by Jake »

1 5 REDSKINS DT - TOMMIE HARRIS - OKLAHOMA - P
2 37 REDSKINS DE - DAVE BALL - UCLA - C
3 69 REDSKINS TE - BEN WATSON - GEORGIA - T
5 133 REDSKINS RB - DERRICK KNIGHT - BOSTON COLLEGE - T
6 165 REDSKINS CB - CUROME COX - MARYLAND - P

This would be a great draft if we stuck to it from here 'til April. I think free agency will change how this will go down. I watched Derrick Knight in a bowl game the other night and he was AWESOME! I'm a little nervous about Watson because I think he may just be another Chamberlain. I hope not. Maybe he would turn out for us if we got him.

I would love that draft but getting Ball at 37?? He is the college football sack leader don't see him lasting that long. Hey Venting Hog what's that kids name that played DE for Delaware this year he pretty damn good...you think he can play at the next level? I know he went to Duke for a few years before DE.

i read some rumors about us trading the #5 to NE for 2 late round selections (maybe something like 20th & 28th-32nd)........if we could do that and for some reason champ departs and we get a first rounder for him.... that would be 3 first rounders  we could do pretty much anything we wanted to in the draft with that kind of weight.........

It is asanine to look at a mock draft and think anything of it when the season hasn't even ended, free agency is still a month away, and we havent even limited our coaching candidtates to a top two...

I know. That's why I posted it, because it is such a great draft that probably wont happen. I just posted it because it looks nice.

Senior defensive end Shawn Johnson played extremely well for the Blue Hens this year. He's got a ton of talent and I have no doubt that he could make it in the NFL. The kid has a great work ethic and has the heart of a giant.

He'd be a great sleeper pick in the draft and won't go high because he's playing for a I-AA school.

I would love it if the Skins picked him!
