FREAKING FINALLY!
I missed this but my husband pointed out that Weinstein said that he is going to review tapes for changes all across the board. That was his response to if he would change the QB or not!
Let's hope he sees what all of us did!

I think the coach has final say? right? and who is Weinstein? Has anyone seen how Brunell look weird throwing the ball. It looks like he's having trouble throwing. He's left handed so running to his right and throwing should look weird but when your running to the side of your throwing arm you should be able to throw on the run...He always looks in pain? He looks like he has knee braces on and they won't bend and he's lumping along stiff leged and it hurts him to turn his body and throw? Is it me? The last time I saw this was with Marino with Miami.

Yeah basically Bram said that he didn't get the impression that Brunell's job was safe. Coach Gibbs didn't say anything about Brunell's performance. He stated they would review the film and make any changes they felt were necessary and they can't change o-lineman, they can't change H-back or running back. They can't change receivers, so that leaves one change.

Brunnel looks punch drunk to me. He also looks way too jittery, like he's scared he'll get whacked and suffer another concussion. Hey, maybe he just doesn't have it anymore. He plays relatively smart, but he is soft and is absolutely no threat to any defense. I really wanted him to be successful here, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. I daresay that Ramsey couldn't do worse, so why not put him in? As for Portis, I doubted that he would have much success here, given his size. I hope I am eventually proven wrong.

Yeah, he said Brunell is the guy. I did read though, that he would be laying out a plan to fix things. Could we be at the point he found himself in '81 when he drastically changed the offense and started winning?Champsturf wrote:I just read on yahoo that Gibbs is not changing quarterbacks. I think no. What can a scheme do for a QB who cannot get the ball where it needs to be? I doubt it, maybe Ill be proved wrong but this is what the forum is for, speculation.
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!
FREAKING FINALLY
RAMSEY CANT AND WONT MOVE. IF HE PLAYS HE WILL BE ON HIS BUTT AS ALWAYS. AT LEAST BRUNEEL BUYS SOME TIME BY ROLLING OUT. I AM JUST WAITING UNTIL SOME TEAM PUTS A SPY ON HIM STOPS THAT LEFT SIDE ROLL OUT. RAMSEY IS DONE UNLESS HE HAS PERFECT PROTECTION.
GREAT SAFETY PLAY IS A MUST IN '04
Yeah we all know Ramsey didn't do well last year!
Come on people stop bad mouthing one of the only guys that almost made us prosper under that horrible coach.
