What will cause the "spark"

Post by oafusp »

We need a "spark" this weekend. It seems like all the teams that play us get these in the 2nd half of the game.

What will cause the Skins to turn this ship around?

Clinton Portis getting untracked. We beat TB, with Portis running and defense. We didn't beat Dallas with Brunell throwing for 325 yards...

So RUN Portis RUN!!
How many more sleeps until next season?

I think the greatest spark of all would be a descisive victory. Like 24 - 3. . . . ahhhh. And we can DO that to the BEARS!!!
Have no fear, Moss will make it happen.

I also think a good ol' fashioned brawl would help. Some hot dog, hopefully soon, will take a cheap shot on a Skins player. Regardless of the penalty, Skins need to stand up for one another. It's time to jump on somebody, make something happen! Anything!

A few years ago it was Lavar picking off that screen pass and running it back against Carolina. I voted for Portis' breakthrough game because I think that's most likely, but it would be cool to see Lavar or maybe Washington (Taylor?) have a similar play against da Bears.

Defensive TD followed by Brunell getting hit by lightning, a train, a bus, and a buffalo, thereby putting Ramsey in the game and getting on with the future!!!!!!!

Joe Theismann and John Riggins coming out of retirment and putting on the pads to unseat Brunell and Portis.
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

I picked te 300+ with Brunell. I figure if he could actually do that (THROUGHOUT the game) then Portis would get his too. But we all know about Brunell's arm...

I voted for portis because our defense has done a great job now if our running game can be productive we might get on roll

The offense will have to provide the spark, because the defense has been awesome this season, and it hasn't helped at all.
