Thats because all we do is beat each other up.... besides the Cards, and 49ers... (and maybe Tampa, who in my opinion is a surprise, I'm not gonna say the skins because I'm a homer :D)..... are all contenders for playoff spots...

The AFC has one, maybe 2 dominant teams in each division and then the rest of the teams stink...

The Eagles have been doing their part this year to remove that stigma. Your teams haven't been pulling their weight. Get with the program ladies! :)
I got your number. I steal your thunder. I got your mother's maiden name tattooed on my arm.

Well, GF...
Maybe this is YOUR year. I've certainly thought so in the past, and have lost a great deal of money betting on your Birds long after my own team has gone by the wayside.
Still, there's a hump there. Your eventual 11-5 record is only skipping on the last song until your team learns how to flip the damned thing over.
(Dated analogy. Kids don't know what I'm talkin' about.)

It is very easy to have a dynasty in this league even with the salary cap. The key is not the QB. It includes things like, a small core group of guys, great coaches who stay with the team and keep the same system, judging importance of players to the team well, and good drafting. If a guy is about to start getting big dollars, you gotta be able to tell if he's gonna still be a dominator, or just good. Good drafting means, aquiring top tier 2nd level guys, and more of them. Trading down and picking up picks, trading guys (you don't want to pay big dollars to) before their contracts run out to get draft picks is how this is accomplished.

That's why the Pats are doing so well. They have a team loaded with above average players without any true superstars. They let guys go who want more money than they are worth, while replacing them with up and comers, they play team football, and they draft well, and at the same time, get a lot of players. There is no reason to think they can't continue this trend for years to come.

And to add my .02 to the NFC thing. I picked the Hawks to make, possibly win the show this year, so I think the NFC will get more respect very soon =)

The Hawks are looking even stronger, earlier than I expected. If they get past the Eagles, which I expect they will, I think we are in for our first blowout bowl in awhile.
