Is it possible for an entire division to make the playoffs?

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

I dunno, I was just always curious about this and after the Giants beat the Browns last week, it made me wonder even more. Would it be possible for say, the entire NFC East to make the playoffs?

How crazy would that be?

There are only 2 Wild Card teams per conference, so it is not possible.
How many more sleeps until next season?

1 divisoin winner and 2 wildcards.

EX: NFC EAST Division Winne = Redskins
NFC Wild Card Team #1 = Eagles
NFC Wild Card Team #2 = Giants

So the Cowboys would not make the playoffs.
(because they suck)

So the answer is "no". The 2 wildcards can come from 1 division which would make 3, but that's it. Someone in AFC East got screwed within the last couple of years (not sure exactly), the 4th team in the division was better then 1 of the division winners, but the division winner had to go in because theirs only 2 wildcards.
