The rumor going around is the DMac isn't a good practice player and has fallen to the 5th WR on the team, Until Gibbs see's more improvement, or one of our WR's gets hurt DMAc won't see the field

it is a numbers game... in our offense we need te's.. not 4 wr's... and at this point.. I would say I would rather have thrash the number 3 anyway.... he is a solid smart player and a pretty good blocker...

darnerian mccan't see the field isn't as good as thrash or jacobs... pine time baby...

But he's so good in the red zone that you wonder why we don't suit him up and only use him there. A ridiculous percentage of the balls that he catches are for touchdowns. Was anyone else wishing that we had a better red zone threat than Cooley/Gardner during the Boys game this past week? Think about if we came out in a big set with Betts (or Rock), Rasby, Cooley, Gardner, DMac and out O-line out there. Oooh, that would be sweet, we could do almost anything we wanted from that formation.

I think it already been addressed on another thread but basically Thrash and Jacobs play special team and DMac does not so he is the odd man out and will not see the field much this year

I'm sure DMac would play special teams if that gets him playing time. He could have gone to Baltimore, but he chose to stay here. He's a Redskin and he has more experience then Jacobs. With those two things factored in I can't see why he's not playing.

Oh well, I trust Coach Gibbs knows what he's doing especially when McCants replacement catches a two point conversion.

If Morton can go and Thrash handles the return duties that may open the door for DMac, if Gibbs doesn't want to be forced to count on Thrash too much My 2 cents... then again Rock maybe activated, Either one may improve our Redzone offense

I think we need to look at getting Sellers in the game inside the 5 yard line. He may not be the best back we have.....but the guy has better size (6'3, 260), than the rest of our backs. Portis and Betts are under 6 feet and less than 225 pounds. Why throw it when you can stuff it? McCants is great in the red zone....but I am talking about inside the 5 yard line. If we would have converted inside the 5 each time this year I think we would be 3-0 or at least 2-1.

it won't matter what back you put in there... our coaches need to be a little more creative in the redzone... our line is pretty solid... but i don't think (and they have shown) that they aren't overly physical... the line has been beat on the goal line on six plays now....

i think we should spread out the defense down there by putting the wr's out wide and let portis run wide on the goal line... he has enough speed to out run people to the pylon and could cut back if there were any little creases...
