Jody Foldesy, of the Washington Times, reports Washington Redskins LB Mike Barrow (knee) aggravated his knee injury in Saturday's practice, Sept. 25, and appears unlikely to play Monday, Sept. 27, against the New York Giants. "We'll probably still look at it, but I don't think it looks good right now," linebackers coach Dale Lindsey said. "It's similar to last week. I don't think he's quite where he wants to be."
Looks like we've got Lamar Marshall for the long haul Monday night. Along with Ron Warner in for P Daniels I think tehy may surprise some of us

I really dont know too much about Lemar Marshall, but I did check out his scouting report on ESPN and take a look at his stats:
Marshall provides some depth at linebacker but he makes his biggest contributions on special teams. Plays with a non-stop motor and will make some plays with second effort. Takes adequate angles to the ball, gets downfield quickly on cover teams and contribute on special teams. However, Marshall is undersized, he doesn't have great power and he lacks speed. Lacks ideal bulk, doesn't have the lower body strength to anchor at the point of attack and frequently gets driven back. Doesn't explode out of cuts, isn't fast enough to run with backs or tight ends downfield and is a liability in coverage. Fails to square up to the back at times and will miss some tackles diving at the ball carrier's legs. Overall, Marshall is a high-effort special teams' player that never stops working to get to the ball but he is one-dimensional and he will never be more than anything than an adequate-at-best reserve. He can't anchor against run, he is a liability in coverage and he doesn't make enough big plays.
I am not sure if he has improved much, but that Scouting Report is pretty scathing....
