Wish me luck...

Post by skinz74 »

I'm just about ready to submit my transfer packet from the Navy to the Army for their Warrant Officer program. If I'm accepted, I'll have the opportunity to fly attack helicopters and help keep my boys outta harms way. I've met some opposition along the way, specifically from my division not wanting to release me, but I'm relentless in my goal. It's kinda weird...switching from air traffic controller to pilot. Wish me luck...

Best of luck, skinz74.

If you see my kids, say "Hello". Can't miss them. He's is a 4th generation Redskin fan; she, unfortunately roots for the Rams.

She said that one of the few bits of fun she has had since being deployed was when her group flew down to a southern city in a pair of helicopters. The piloting was amazing, she said: both helicopters zig-zagging, upping and downing, to discourage guys with RPG's from trying a shot.

You're making a good choice. Valuable contribution.

Everybody here knows where I stand on our military, but we can't seem to keep those things in the air ! We're good now !
Skins74, it's men like you that make it so guys like me can do what we do.
Thanks, man. Good luck.
