13 out of 14 ...
Okay, so if I can't have a little fun in here, I will go with stats if you will. The Dallas Cowboys have won the last 13 out of 14 games against the rival Washington Redskins.

Actually....one definition of flaming is: "a post whose sole purpose is to illicit a negative response from other members of the site."
I have a news flash for you. When you come onto a Redskins site and start spewing a "we won 13 or 14 vibe", that will certainly illicit a negative response.

Justice Hog, a negative response is great. It's what rival fans are good at. Just wanting to see what kind of backbone this forum has. This is a good place to chat. I'm gonna ease up with the smack talk. I realize that this particular forum isn't geared towards that, and I have to respect it. But I will try to have fun without stepping on toes.

I'll repeat what others have said; talk all the smack you want in the Smack forum. The rest of the site is for real football talk.

Um, are you still talking?

. . . .
Just when we thought the pre-pubescent nonsense had slowed down on the board for a moment. . .

Die, thread, die!

Um, are you still talking?Cvillehog was right, let's let the dumb threads die so that we can make room for actual football talk.

Easy "Sam I am"...If this was real football talk you would not be here....
OK...some real football....
Your front seven are in a world of hurt...not that they were as strong as you all thought in the first place. Our O-line will dominate...end of story. You'll be lucky to get your hands the old man. For your sake if old man Eddie gets more the 75 yards...well be embarrased is all I gotta say about that.
Keys will get 100 yards because your DB's can't stop the chain mover...and good luck keeping up with Jason Witten.
As for Portis...hey he's a stud...any freak'in idiot can tell ya that. The single fact that you will not be able to pass much on us will make it much easier to stop or at least slow down Portis.
There's some football for ya. How about a response other then...Uhhhh...Uhhhh...well Cowboys suck.

I fail to see the reasoning behind the Dallas fans insisting that their offense will dominate our defense.
We have been very strong defensively so far this young season, even against a team with far more weapons than Dallas, including two healthy, veteran RBs that are legitimate threats rather than has-beens or also-rans.
It is our offense that has yet to gell to this point. I am hoping we will be able to pull things together for Monday night, but as a fan, I am knowledgeable enough to know it may take the better part of the season for that to really happen. As long as our defense keeps us in close games, we should be able to pick up enough wins while the offense gets it's act together in order to put together a run at the playoffs.
Given Dallas fans' pension for dwelling in the past, why isn't there any talk about how great their defense has been? If I was making the argument for a Cowboys win on Monday, it would be the Cowboys defense defeating the Redskins offense. But, none of you have made that case. Perhaps that's because you know we will be vastly improved over last week's performance, and you are truly scared of our running game and our deep passing threat (with P.Ramsey's big gun under center).

Your point is well taken...the reason I'm not touting our run defnese is well because it has been a little suspect thus far. I'm not sure about the addition of Wiley...his worth is still a ??? mark for me.
I think our game plan for Monday will be to stop the run early and try to get a lead and force the game into Ramsey's hands...when that happens then we pin the front 7's ears back and let them fly at Ramsey...
To think we have the #1 offense is a joke to me...We are solid , but to say we are better then Minny, Pats, and teams like Indy...C'mon even I can't buy that. as for your defense...it's better...improved over the last few years, but don't get to excited about that label yet. One big let down and you fall back 10 spots early in the season.
My passion comes from the fact we have moved the ball at will up and down the field only to hurt ourselves with stupid penalties and turnovers. It's week three and Parcell's is pissed about that...I expect to see us score this weekend. I really do.

Our front seven is missing Daniels, Lavar, and Barrow. Guess what? We missed Lavar, Barrow and Daniels (but it may have been Griffin) for nearly all of our pre-season games, and yet our first string D still didn't give up an offensive touchdown.
George can have 200 yards on us, as long as we win the game. I don't get caught up in predicting games based on stats, I just want the W.
Our D can't stop the "chain mover"? We have before, I don't see why we can't do it again--many people questioned our secondary coming into this season because we lost Bailey. Just like they questioned our D-line. Just like they are now questioning whether or not we can play as a cohesive unit without Lavar. Do they realize that, when needed, Bowen stepped up? Smoot has been playing very well. Pierce came from (seemingly, to all-non Skins fans) nowhere to play like one of the best LBs in the league. No, we're just waiting to see who the next hero will be when he steps up.
Yes, our offense has been slow to develop. It probably won't be all together this week. But I do know that any D that can keep it's team in a game down to the wire even though the offense has given up 7 turnovers AND a TOUCHDOWN to the opposing team's D certainly should be given some recognition.
