By far one of the most pleasant surprises this year. If he keeps playing at this rate he'll be deserving of an (at least) alternate / starting Pro Bowl spot this year. Or at least, in a world where people judged talent, and not hype, for Pro Bowls he might. . .

But who knows? Anything could happen. And maybe he actually could get Pro Bowl consideration if he plays like this through the fall.

Pierce has looked pretty good in the two games I have seen him play. Is he playing well enough to keep Barrow from getting his spot back?

At least for awhile. Even when Barrow is healthy again, it will take him awhile to get in shape. He hasn't played at all since mini camp. I just don't see how you can take Pierce out. Even Coach Gibbs said they would have to find a way to keep him on the field.

He's been amazing. Washington too -- he's third in the league in tackles. The thing that has impressed me most about our D this year is not just all the pressure and stuff but the quality of tackling. The team just isn't missing tackles and that's crucial!
