Madden 2005 or NFL 2K5

Post by TheMagicThree »

I've got to say, for $19.99, NFL 2K5 isn't bad at all. For once, I actually like this game over Madden. I was kind of pissed when I saw that the new Madden didn't keep the "Turn Salary Cap Off." It took away from the reality of football, and allowed you to have whoever on your team without restrictions. What do you all think?

I finally got to play them both. I love the menus and animations in 2k5, but for gameplay I've still got to give it to Madden. Even if it does cheat.

I still like Madden's playbooks (even though it hasn't changed at all), but I still can't get over the limited options you have compared to Madden '04.

N.F.L. 2K5 is pretty sweet good game play solid graphics .....lame announcers that to me is the most disapointing thing about the game.
theisman, patrick should be in the game.

That didn't bother me as much as the awful lip synching for Berman and Kolber.

I rented them both from Gamefly (like Netflix for games) to try them out.

I have to say, as someone who hasn't really played either franchise of games in the past, Madden just felt better. I mostly just did the training before sending them back, and I liked Madden better.
