Just An Explanation...
Unlike the offseason and preseason, my replies have not been what they usually are in numbers(not to say that my totals are huge. But I have been around the site for quite awhile making replies and comments when it so feels a need to me)but the mods might be able to tell you I have been hovering and reading the "new news site" for headlines and reading the stories written by HOGS.NET mods and staff. My explanation comes from the fact that months ago I got really sick with rheumatic fever. Apparently it did some damage to my heart and one of the valves due to scarring. I had 2 minor heart attacks last week. Ive been seeing my doctor on a regular basis and I'm not supposed to get stressed out or mad. "Stay on an even keel, Mike" By the way, if some of you didn't know, my name is Mike. The conclusion right now is that the scarring is occasionally obstructing with my heart to function properly and could stop the valve all together. Which as much as I hate to say it, could kill me. I'm not asking for sympathy, maybe just a prayer.
I figure... If life is all about the choices you make... Then I choose Redskin football, beer and hot wings!!

Good luck brother Mike. Do what the doc says and stay calm. Don't read any threads that are more than one page, because more than one page means disagreement
If you want a prayer you got it. Get well.

If you want a prayer you got it. Get well.

Not a Skins fan, but none of that matters compairded to what you are dealing with. My prayers are with you and I hope your body heals fast...good luck buddy!

Comparing apples to oranges, I know, but I have recently begun chemotherapy, and I also know what it's like at this point to have stuff stuck in your chest... I'll add you to my prayers, and between the two of us, we'll get through our trials and be able to watch a lot more Redskins victories! (And I, too, am not asking for sympathy, because I'm going to have none on the cancer that decided to mess with me!)
R.I.P. Andrew McDonough 9/3/92 - 7/14/07. Love & miss you, #20.

Go on!
Hey brothers! Our hearts are with you. "Football is a game of great lessons" is a famous quote by Vince Lombardi. Please persevere and fight on. Never give up.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Once again, from myself and my family, thank you. And Cowboys Fanatic, my wife and I have had this Mondy Night Football game party planned since the schedules came out. If you're not doing anything that night, PM me and I'll give you directions. Going to be A WHOLE LOT OF FUN!!!! Beer!!! Lots of food!!! Even a cowboys crying corner(I'd make one for the Redskins but, it's my house and IF I have to, I can pout anywhere I want!!! LOL). Really though, you won't be the only cowboy fan here. I know a few others!!
