Football Novice question.

Post by NikiH »

Ok I am not an expert or even close but I was wondering if perhaps our receivers looked horrible because their coach was MIA. I mean the guy has a damn good reason not to be there but could that be why they had a hard time?? Hixon would be key to their performance I would think. Again just a rookie observation.

Maybe, but if a ball is coming towards your neck, hits your hands and you don't catch it, it doesn't matter if Elmer (the glue guy) is on the sidelines. I think Coles looked pretty good!

Following up on the WR concerns. Was McCants inactive again today? I think we could have used him, being such a physical receiver, today. I agree with you, Niki, that not having the WR coach around surely didn't help.

Niki great question...I never even thought of how that could have affected the team let alone our receivers
