Going through the new news section (sorry for the shameless plug), I came across this WONDERFUL article about the Cowboys.
Like any article, it's just one person's opinion... but I thought a few of you might share that opinion so I wanted to relay it on...
Dallas looks for Marcellus Wiley to help its pass rush. If he were the real deal, San Diego would have tried to keep him.
The 2003 Cowboys were 5-1 in games decided by 8 points or less and 2-0 in games decided by 3 points or less. They don't figure to be as fortunate in that department this season.
Testaverde and running back Eddie George are mainstays of the offense — at least for now. Vinny still can throw but he lacks mobility. George appears washed up after years of pounding with the Tennessee Titans. Their backups are rookies Drew Henson and Julius Jones.
The NFL East is on the upgrade and Dallas could easily go 0-4 against Philadelphia and Washington (the return of Joe Gibbs to the Redskins probably negates the fact that the Cowboys are 12-1 in the last 13 games in the rivalry).
I read this earlier this morning....got it from the same place you did. Like you said when you announced this baby, it links you to stories you might not have seen otherwise.
I emailed a link to close to 30 people, and even non-Redskin fans are giving rave reviews.
RIP 21
