I think Wilbon's answer the other day is plenty good enough: Taylor has not learned enough of the complex defense to be in every play. TB went to "packages" that required Williams to counter with fancy packages that don't yet include Taylor.

It's better to let him learn, practice and learn, than to throw him into a situation for which is is not prepared.

A counter-example might be Pierce. The Post mentioned how much Pierce has impressed Williams with his grasp of the game. That says Pierce is a Redskin, in the sense that Gibbs means it when he says that he is looking for guys who are Redskins...not just players who put in the uniform.

Taylor is not there yet. But, hey, was that his first regular season game?
