Steve Smith Breaks Fibula In Monday Night Loss

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Steve Smith Breaks Fibula In Monday Night Loss

Post by 1niksder »

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith was carted off the field Monday night during the Panthers' game against Green Bay. Smith suffered an apparent broken leg late in the fourth quarter when he was tackled from behind by Packers linebacker Hannibal Navies. The fourth- year wideout, who caught six passes for 60 yards, wore a towel over his head while he was carted from the sideline to the locker room and will miss atleast one month. Smith, 25, re-signed with Carolina in the offseason for six more years. He had a great season for the NFC champion Panthers in 2003, pulling in 88 receptions for 1,110 yards and seven touchdowns

Steve Smith is a pretty big loss for the Panthers, My Daughter who likes the Panthers is not happy about the loss of Smith or the loss to the Packers.. HTTR

The Panthers didn't look good last night (their O-Line stinks) and losing Smith is really gonna hurt.

Is it too soon to start making Panther jokes?

I'd hold off for a little while. One game does not a season make.

Ouch! You hate to see a team lose a key player like that.

I would say that really hurts the Panthers, but from all reports and what i've seen, Keary Colbert is gonna shock some people with his play at WR.

This sucks. He is one of my best players on fantasy football. My fantasy team going to suck more than it already does. Is he out for the entire season?

It sounds like a fake fight song you might hear during a Rogers and Hart musical than an actual fight song!

I know..... Me and My friend (who's an eagles fan :puke:) always are bashing each others fight songs.... needless to say.... he sent that one to me and the arguement has ceased due to the fact neither of them are as bad as that one... sounds like Richard Simmons and Mary Poppins were hired to write it
