After this first game, I wonder if I'm going to read any more of this "Does anybody remember the last time Bowen hit someone other than a teamate ?" stuff.

I haven't. Well I have always liked Bowen but I like Ohalete too. Bowen definitely showed us that he is worth every penny of his paycheck.

anywho.... he had me jumping up and down yesterday the way he was playing.....kinda reminded me of Brad Edwards, only faster... with pads

I think that of all the players listed on the who is going to surprise us thread, Matt Bowen was not listed. But to me he was the biggest surprise yesterday! I'm thinking there's going to be a million Bowen jerseys popping up soon.

Bowen looked a lot like John Lynch of a couple years ago against the Bucs.

I'd like to pull up that thread and read it. I'm surprised I didn't mention Bowen then. I've been singing his praises ever since we signed him.

I'm biased, though, because I wrote an article on him way back when for TheHogs.Net.
