Champ Baily

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Db's aren't getting burned for touchdowns anymore. Boy I wonder why? Denver is the place he's in now.

Two words why are DB's didn't get beat...pass rush! Of course Galloway's drop helped

Champ bailey

Im happy that we traded Champ bailey and i think our defence is invincible even without Chump Bailey unless we play against St.Louis in the postseason play. We held them to only 3 points. No Runningbacks that we have could of had the run for 64 yards.

Wow, Champ is also being used on offense in Denver right now, I saw him catch a 10 yard pass from Plummer in the game against the Chiefs. He is a great athelete, but we replaced him with another great athelete in Clinton Portis.

Referring to the article in the Post about Gibbs and tradition, where they mention that Bubba Tyrer (back again!) told Gibbs that Thrash is "a Redskin". They didn't hesitate a second...they picked him up.

So, I believe that a team of people like Thrash will beat a collection of people like Champ Bailey. I would rather have Smoot, who accepts the system, than Bailey, who didn't.

I'm watching the Denver v. KC game as I type and KC's offense can NOT do anything...the D is awesome...and Champ bailey did WR plays on offense!!!

I think this was a win-win. We are better with Portis and Denver is better with Champ.

THANK YOU THANK YOU! Why dwell on the freakin' past folks??? Are we going to see a Champ vs Portis thread EVERY freakin' week? Give it up...

Guys... this is a trade that will help shape the Gibbs second era. It one of the few "big" trades we've seen since FA and the SC. I think is may be a benchmark for things to come, and the media isn't going to let it die!

I agree on letting this comparison rest. One game will not tell the story anyhow. Let's wait until the end of the season, then take a look at the trade. I say we come out way ahead in the end. Although I agree both teams come out better. And as City said Chump didn't want to be here.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.
