Post by 1niksder »

Philadelphia's No. 1 draft pick this year, offensive lineman Shawn Andrews suffered a fractured right leg in Sunday's game against the New York Giants. The injury occurred late in the second quarter on a running play. The rookie from Arkansas had his leg immobilized and left the field on a cart. Andrews was the 16th overall pick of the draft and the second offensive lineman taken after Robert Gallery was picked second by Oakland. The Eagles traded with the San Francisco 49ers to get the 345-pound offensive tackle, moving from the 28th pick to the 16th
