PORTIS will have 100 + yards verus the bucs.i think we will see PORTIS early and often.thus setting up the play action passes.our o-line looked a lot better as the preseason went on and having a whole week to prepare for the bucs "D" i feel that the blocking schemes will be just fine. I selected 100+ for the simple fact that he will definately break out 1, 2, or possibly 3 big gains in addition to his 3-4 yard runs.
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!

looks like I'm in the majority...I said between 100-124....I say he gets his 20-25 carries and averages right at 5 yards per.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

You guys are being too optimistic. Portis will get plenty of carries, but this is a GOOD Tampa Defense. Portis will get his carries, but I'm not sure he'll break 100.

This will be a tough game. We'll get a better feel for what Gibbs has in his bag from this one.

I guessed less than 50 for several reasons.

1) Everyone else homered up and went over 100 and tried to even out the median somewhat.

2) Everyone (at least the people here) expect to see Portis toting the rock early and often. I would believe that Gruden expects the same thing and I have this funny feeling that Gibbs will do something totally unxpected to mark his re-entery into the NFL.

If anyone cares, the final score will be TB 23 Washington 20.

I said 100-124 because thats SLIGHTLY above an average rushing game--although if he gets more, I shall not complain
