is he going to stay with #17 or one of the other #'s reported in the final cuts article ? #83 or #89 ? i think thrash #83 has a nice ring to it . REDSKINZ4EVER !!!!

You should have checked out our roster page first. It's in the Team Info section. I update the roster as soon as I find out about anything that could affect it (Number changes, signings, releases.) Take time to explore the whole site. That's what everything is there for.

As you may or may not know, this year wide receivers can wear #'s 10-19 even if there are available numbers in the 80's.

Personally, I think it's kinda cool... there were some great receivers in the 60's/70's with that number (Harold Carmichael/Gene Washington/Don Maynard come to my mind) and I really enjoy seeing vintage NFL games...

...but actually I'm glad he switched - to me, 17 is a number for QB's with the Redskins, not WR's.

I'd personally like to see Cooley convert to #89.

i thought those #'s were open only if no numbers were available in the 80's. i could be wrong though...
