How many shut-outs will the Skins have in 2004-05?

Post by Justice Hog »

I, for one, think we're gonna have a much much improved defense this year. I wouldn't be surprised if we even have a few shut-outs this year. (What a change, huh?)

My question to all of you, then, is "How many shut-outs do you think the Skins will have this year?"

We have a fairly week schedule. Not a lot of Offensive juggernauts. I can see a lot of low-scoring games and maybe even two shutouts.

If we win, I don't care if they are all 20-19. But if I have to be a betting man, I will say 1. Don't get too worked up over the preseason folks - the real games begin on Sunday.

Shutouts are very hard to come by. We will be lucky to get 2, I don't care how good the D is. And that doesn't even take into consideration the other team's defense scoring. A FG can be made from 50 yards out, so field position plays a big part, which means ST can blow a shutout. And if you get a big lead, the coaches will sometimes play second stringers for mop-up duty to get them reps, and keep the 1st stringers rested and injury free.

the only real possibility of the Redskins getting shut out is vs. Baltimore and MAYBE at Dallas. you guys have an EASY schedule this year!

i see our D being much improved but being in it's first year mistakes will happen, a big play here and there so we will get scored on most likely in every game ... BUT i see us holding most of our oppenents under 20 points giving us a better chance of winning .REDSKINZ4EVER !!!!
TOUCHDOWN .....WASHINGTON REDSKINS !!!!
