With such a depleted lineup due to injuries... I truly didn't expect much... and I was still disappointed!

at least when something's ugly...as you describe, you can look away and try and forget. I can't forget this feeling and have an upset stomach that lingers, and the sad thing is there is no cure until some form of revenge (will we ever see it?)
