TheHogs.Net Tailgate - Planning for the Bucs game

Post by Justice Hog »

I just wanted to get a rough idea who will be coming out to the Bucs game on the 12th....and who will be joining us at the tailgate.

If you come to the tailgate, we encourage that:

1) You bring a covered dish with you; or
2) You make a small donation to TheHogs.Net tailgate fund.

Regardless, we hope to see you there!!!

If you're coming....and if you're bringing a "covered dish", post it here. We'd all love to know what you're bringing!!

ME?

I'll be bringing hamburgers (and rolls), sausages (and rolls) and....of course....some more scrapple. Maybe I'll even get lucky and score some homemade "Wingman" scrapple!

Not sure about the Bucs game yet...but wanted to let you know that Jake and I did put money in the jar yesterday. It's hard to ride the bus and walk a mile to the tailgate with a covered dish so we thought it'd be easier to donate. We're definately coming to the game, just not sure if we'll be able to make it to the tailgate but if we do...we'll definately make a contribution. The food was excellent and you had everything set up really nice. You should NOT have to do that alone....I agree ! The homemade scrapple might just be worth the walk. ::Smiles:: Thanks again for everything Justice ! Ya done GOOD !

Another commitment just came up and I can't make 9/12, but I'm still trying to figure out a way of getting to the tailgate withOUT going to the game.

Skinschic. People donated a total of $14.00 yesterday which was nice. Thanks to you and Jake for you contribution...and it was really nice (finally) meeting both of you.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind footing the bill for the tailgate; however, if this thing grows as big as I think it's going to grow....I'll be in the poor house by week #3. Therefore, I thought the "donation jar" and/or "covered dish" thing would help out.

I don't blame you Niki....LOL

Oh...and for the record....$10.00 of the $14.00 was from me and Jake. I think we covered our bill plus some :-) We wanted to make sure we paid for what we ate and contributed some more to the cause. I think everyone that can't "bring" food should think along the same lines.

I will make Niki's famous Mexican dip with chips. Normally she would make it, but as you can see above....

Food: I'll get back to you.

Do you have any suggestions?

My wife and I are hoping to make it as well. We usually park way on the other side so I think we'll be making a cash donation. Can someone give me a general idea of where to go? We usually enter the stadium at Gate D (seats are in section 113). Thanks!

i hate all of you!!!!

just kidding. I won't be there since I'm on the other side of the country =(

Just ordered my ticket today though, and suprisingly, it will be on by the weekend. I'll be yelling and screaming at my TV instead of at the game. Wish I could be there with you all.

One day, I will get my season tix and fly to DC 8 times a year. I'm not on the list, so I'll have to buy the really expensive ones that there are plenty of. How much are the expensive seats again? Aren't they like 10k or something along those lines?

club seats are $3000-$4000 per yr per seat. i too am thinking of getting club seats in the next couple years. :hmm: this whole career change thing has to get off the ground for me first though, or else i may become homeless, but i'll still have good seats. :D

3000-4000 for a club seat huh? It's nice to have a 10 year contract then... My seats are 2nd row clubs w/ Orange parking and I pay about that for 2 tickets and the parking pass.

Which leads me to this;

I am probably not going to make the Bengals, Giants and Vikings games. I will sell my tickets and pass for $300 for these games. Anyone interested please PM me. The probably means that I am going to try to trade one of those games for two extra tickets in my section for the Raisins game. If not successful then I will sell them or whatever is left after bartering.

Seats are section 312 row 11 (2nd row) seats 19 and 20 (end seats). You literally walk up the portal and take 1 step to the right and sit....

Anyone in the clubs this Sunday - stop by....

Hi guys! This is my first post. I tailgated a few spots down from you in Red Lot 4. Nice to meet all of you. What a way to start the year! I'm looking for a down and dirty NFC East game this weekend. I am optimistic about out chances after seeing the defense in all its glory yesterday. BTW, I'm listening to Colin Cowherd right now and he is mesmerized by the Redskins. He said "very interesting" when describing his game observations. Lets hope for 2-0 heading into a Monday Night showcase. We are so due to have a good MNF showing. Once again, nice to meet you guys and I visited like I promised to do!

Welcome to the board Mike, thanks for stopping by.

I agree that we're in for a good old-fashioned knock down, drag-em-out battle this weekend against the Giants.

You guys got to see a good game Sunday.
