It started off with a trip to theHogs.net Tailgate. It was awesome. It was awesome meeting Justice Hog and Wingman for the first time and meeting HailSkins and Amy again. The setup of the tailgate was awesome. Great job. By the way JH, you made a mean cheeseburger. Delicious.
Reedeemed, you may want to stop by the tailgate sometime. It's across the street from a Bible school.

Then it was off to the stadium. While my mom was getting the Forward Pass card, I was off to get signatures. I successfully got Gibran over to sign. I told him it sucked that he hasn't gotten a chance to play. Forgot what he said but it was along the lines of "you'll have to talk to the coaches about that."

While I was trying to get sigs, I called for Donnie Warren countless times. He heard me and looked. I showed him my cards I had wanted him to sign and he just looked away. He had an embarrased smirk on his face for some reason. No, didn't get the autograph. He even walked past where I was standing on the sideline and still didn't sign. I asked him to sign again... no avail. What a dull dude.
My mom and I were able to get Darnerien over to sign. My mom asked him when his CD would come out and he said next year. I also thanked him for joining the message board and asked him why he hasn't been back. He said doesn't really know how to use a message board and then he lost his password. So Mark, send him a new one... ASAP!

Then it was gametime. The seats were pretty empty to begin but filled up as it went on. (Lots of Labor Day traffic to Ocean City) What a great first drive. Brunell was sharp and

With about 2:00 left in the game, I was walking out the stadium to get autographs. Then I see this huge, really built guy walking next to me. Looked slightly familiar. I started talking to him and asked him if he played football. (I hate asking questions like that) He said he played here last year. Something sparked. I asked him "Are you Orantes Grant?" He said "yeah." I said "Hey man, how are you doing? I'm the kid that asked for your autograph every week." He replied "I remember you. I told him I was pissed to see him go last year and he humbly chuckled. I asked him what he was doing here and he said he was here to see his boy Demitric Evans (both played for Georgia and Dallas). I later told him that I wish him the best of luck in finding a new team and he thanked me. That was really awesome to talk to one of my boys from last year!

After the game, I got the sigs of Garnell Wilds, Brian Kozlowski, Brandon Noble, Dameane Douglas, Walt Harris, Rock Cartwright, Laveranues Coles, Clifton Smith, and Tom Tupa.
I told Cartwright that I want to keep him on the team but from what I've heard, I'm worried about his status with the team and if he is let go that I wish him the best with the rest of his career. And I stuck my hand out and he shook it.
I asked Clifton Smith how his offseason went and he said pretty well. I told him that I can't wait until Barrow leaves (I really exaggerated when I said that) so then he can step up and become a really good linebacker for us. Then he said "I remember you." Last year, I complimented him a lot and told him he was underrated and I was glad to have him. He had 136 tackles as a senior and was still undrafted.
When Coles was signing, I thanked him for going all out 100% for every game last year, especially with the injury. He was pretty appreciative.
When I got home, I found out that my football team (South River Seahawks) beat Glen Burnie 61-0! Our football team has sucked for years until they improved to 5-5 last year. Yes, I said they IMPROVED to 5-5.
And one of our esteemed members was quoted as saying "Mike Vick looked like a confused little boy... and L.A. Nation was his daddy!"
