Hopes and fears about Atlanta game?

Post by NikiH »

Just wondering what everyone is expecting to see this evening. Who are you keeping your eye on? And who are you expecting to flop/shine?

I am actually wanting to see more of Sean Taylor. He is wonderful when he is in there, but I'm wondering if he can endure an entire game playing like that. I am also going to keep my eye on Morton, if we get to see him. I haven't seen him do his usual awesome run backs. I'm hoping he breaks away once tonight, to show us he still has it! ;-)

My biggest fear is that those refs from the first home game will show up again. That was the worst case of officiating I've ever seen! I am hoping that one was just trying out and has since been cut! I mean come on, turn your damn mic off before you blow the whistle. He did that every penalty! And let's not get into that game he played "let me see if I can get in the way". Uggh!
Whenever I start to get blue, I just breathe!

My favortie line from the Simpsons:

Flanders: "Looks like someone is having a pre-rapture party!"

Homer: "No Flanders, it's a meeting of gay witches for abortion , you wouldn't be interested!"

I want to see some sustained drives by the offense. Good old clock eating stuff. On the D side I want to see Vick contained, and forced to pass from the pocket, and there to be steady pressure on him to get the ball out quickly. If I can see those two things, all my worries will be forgotten.

I'd be perfectly happy if Morton waited until Sept. 12 to start running kicks back for TDs! :)

I hope our corners step up. I hope Ramsey also steps his game up to another level. He has been really disappointing to me which is unfortunate because I realy wanted him to be our starter.

I fear that more inuries may occur and by some fluke, I won't get any autographs.

I wouldn't mind a couple dings to our players.

As long as they are all healthy by the time the season starts, and we play the entire season, the playoofss, and the Super Bowl completely healthy.

Play smart, under control and no injuries or "dings" thank you very much.

Yes... as long as everybody comes out "ding" free.... then I'll be happy.....

Oh and a Sean Taylor "Turnover" would be a pleasant surprise also.... I think it's time this kid showed us why we drafted him with our number one pick.....right?

He's already showed us, hasn't he?? I just want to see more of it. I am the type that's never satisfied unless I'm sure I'm seeing 100%! ;-)

I am with BTP and NC. No dings. Not even minor ones. We have had enough problems with injuries for one preseason already!

Ok I get it! I was worried Kellen Winslow Jr took over your log in! Taylor's no "soldier" but he's a damn good football player! ;-)

I want to see Lavar and Daniels play effortlessly (don't Bring the Pain) and the fill-ins on the O-Line to step up and become Dirtbags...and for Hamdan to play a few series

Dear Santa,
I'd like to see Betts get a couple TD's.
Pierce run one in.
Arrington force a fumble.
Ramsey throw better than 50%.

Wow Montana, you must have been very good this year. Could you add seeing Gibran for a series too???
