Smoot

Post by Texas Hog »

"It's our Super Bowl," Smoot said. "This is the game we're going to rise up. This is the game we want. . . . I hate the idea of spoiling. I'd rather somebody try to spoil us because that means we're going to the playoffs. But I hate Dallas. I ain't trying to let them out of here a winner no way."

That's what I like to hear...give em hell Smootie!
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

I wonder if the #1 CB in the league is as up to the challenge as Smoot is?

They'll both have to bring their 'A' games to stop this Cowboys receiving corps without any pass rush.

Quincy is decent if you give him time, but he folds like Origami if you can pressure him. He makes very ill advised throws sometimes (which drives Parcells nuts) and we're gonna have to use some blizes to move him out of his comfort zone.

Otherwise Champ and Smoot will be trying to cover speed demons for 8-10 seconds all the time, and that ain't possible.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

D'ya think they learned anything with the blitzing they did last week? They had 6 sacks, mostly due to linebackers - 2 for Arrington, 2 for Armstead, a half each for Trotter and Marshall...

God I hope so.

I hope so too.

Champ did have a comment as well.

“I try not to look at it as payback, but I want to beat them bad,” Champ Bailey said. The Pro Bowl cornerback has been a Redskin since 1999 and has enjoyed only one victory against Dallas—last year’s 20-14 win in the season finale at FedExField.

Let's hope our secondary is up to the challenge and our DL and LBs can put pressure on QC while also not giving huge chunks of yardage on the ground.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

Cheat, Bite, or Steal... what ever it takes!!!

I've had a miserable time this year. My only ray of hope is for an A$$ kicking the slumping Pukes.

All Skin players have got to know that they will go along way to getting us die hards on their good graces if they take care business this week.

I can only hope and pray they do. [-o<
